Heidi LuMaye , Artistic Director
Mrs. LuMaye started her dance education through the San Fransisco Ballet under Irina Jacobson and Larisa Sklyankaya. She performed with San Fransisco Ballet, San Fransisco Opera, American Ballet Theatre, and the Sacramento Ballet. After Attending intensive e teachers' courses at the National Ballet of Canada, The Royal Winnipeg and The Nutmeg Conservatory she redirected from dancing to teaching. She wanted to focus on providing safe, quality training in a healthy, positive environment in her home town of Vacaville, California. Exposing students to the importance of detail and quality, while being able to execute beautiful movement and musicality.
Mrs. LuMaye has a gift for choreography and had samples of her work performed in New York at the Grande Prix. She continues to set high standards for herself and her students, exposing us all to new and original ideas.
Cassandra Kamakeeaina,
Assistant to the Director, Ballet Instructor
Cassandra began her ballet training at VBT Academy, under Heidi LuMaye. Cassandra was in our first graduating class before continuing her dance education while attending U.C. Irvine . Her love for ballet brought her back to teach and nurture our dancers. Miss Cassy continues to dance with our company . Miss Cassy has began her own family and is expecting her first baby this January.
Oxana Marin , Ballet/ Character
Oxana Marin began her training in St. Petersburg, Russia, studying classical ballet and character. She toured throughout Europe until 1996, then moved to the United States to start her family. Miss Oxana has been exposing our dancers to touring throughout Northern California to showcase their hard work and talent.
Chrystal Wade , Ballet
Miss Chrystal joined our ballet company after after graduating from Chico State. Starting her family and relocating to our area has been a blessing. Miss Chrystal has been focusing on creative and entertaining approaches to teach our young students. She is passionate and dedicated teacher that continues to educate and expose our students to the vast wealth and joy of dance.

~Alan Scofield , Musicality/ Broadway
Alan Schofield was educated at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and at San Francisco State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Drama. He is an author and founding director of Northern California's premier multi cultural arts-education agency: Young Imaginations. He is on the College of Marin dance faculty and is a consultant to businesses and corperations interested in enhancing the creative potential of staff members.
