Membership in the Vacaville Ballet Theatre Company is not a requirement. Not all of our students should consider becoming members of our Company.

There is a major commitment by both the dancers and his/her family. Acceptance into the Company is usually the result of years of hard work. All of our students in  the Academy are encouraged to strive for excellence in school.

We believe a solid academic education is invaluable to leading a successful life. Company members are required to sign a contract, and maintain a 3.0 grade point average in their academics (with no D’s or F’s).

Upon completion of high school, we stress continuing their education by attending college. We will assist them with college selection, choosing a major of interest, and scholarship

applications.

They are required to do community service and are motivated to participate in our mentoring program.

Each year, the Company performs throughout our community. As a part of your commitment to the arts, we ask that you show your support by attending these performances.

The quality of our productions displays our professionalism,

and respect for our art. Our success can be seen in the invitations the Company has

received to perform in other cities and countries.

The motivation sparked within the students from watching these live performances is without comparison. Once back within the classroom,

the enthusiasm and dedication shine through each of them.

The students set new goals to move forward toward becoming a company member. The Company needs your support to allow it to thrive. In time, your student may be a part of the Company.
